Driven by passion
About the founder, Tim
Tim King is the founder of VANTIS and a long-standing practitioner in the fields of social work, case management, and complex mental health support. His career began within Child Safety and Youth Justice, where he worked directly with vulnerable young people and families experiencing crisis, instability, and high-risk environments.
Tim later expanded his practice into mental health case management, supporting adults with psychosocial disability and complex behavioural needs across a range of clinical and community settings.
In 2018, Tim transitioned into independent NDIS support work, where he recognised a critical gap in the sector: the need for structured, consistent, and clinically aligned support for participants with high-intensity mental health needs. What began as individual support work has since evolved into VANTIS — a specialised service built on stability, professionalism, and team-based delivery.
Today, Tim leads a dedicated team of skilled support workers and oversees the structured frameworks that define VANTIS. His experience across government systems, clinical environments, and community reintegration informs the organisation’s commitment to predictable, high-quality support for adults with complex psychosocial disability.
